Jess + Chris - Hawthorn Estates Wedding

What can we say about this one? It was one heck of a fun time, from drinks, and jokes, people getting ‘iced’, to beers exploding in faces. It was wild. It was also a full of love and emotions.

Jess and Chris started with a beautiful first look at Assiniboine Park, there was a few tears flowing during that. Followed up with some fun with the wedding party. After Assiniboine Park we made our way over to The Kings Head Pub (im never opposed to, the people there are fantastic, not to mention the drinks and food are delicious) after some fun in there we got back outside for a few more photo’s before making our way out to the beautiful Hawthorn Estates for their ceremony and reception. If you haven’t been out to Hawthorn Estates, it is one of the most beautiful wedding venues around Winnipeg.

Amanda and I had a fantastic time with Jess and Chris and all of their family and friends. Couldn’t have really asked for a better day.

Sara + Travis - Whiteshell Engagement

This shoot got off to a fantastic start! Sara and Travis may have brought a couple beverages to help loosen them a bit for the shoot, and they were so kind to share with me as well. Im not about to complain about that. We did this shoot out in Whiteshell Provincial Park at Pine Point Rapids. I really do love this hike its full of beautiful places to shoot, and I think we made the most of it.

The next time we get them in front of the camera will be for their Mexico Wedding!!!

Sasha + Branden - Winnipeg Engagement

We met Sasha and Branden a few years back at his sisters wedding, which we also shot!
For their shoot we spent a wonderful evening at La Barrier Park with them and their super adorable pup! We had some great laughs, made them drink a bit too much wine, and captured some really fun moments of them.
Amanda also came out and shot this shoot with me, which I quite enjoyed. Not too often we get to work together these days, but I sure do love it.

Really can’t wait for the summer with Sasha and Branden and all of their family and friends for their big wedding day!

Jill + Cody - Tulabi Falls Engagement

I’d never been to Tulabi Falls up until a few weeks before Jill and Cody’s engagement shoot. What an amazing place! So beautiful with some great views too. We checked out some spots around the falls and the lake and then thought we’d hike to the top and check out the view! Well worth it i’d say. Looking forward to more great times with these two!

Angela + Darin - Kenora Wedding Photographer

I love getting out and shooting in and around Kenora and Lake of the Woods. Its such a beautiful place and so close to Winnipeg. For Angela and Darin’s wedding we spent the day in Kenora finding some fun places to shoot with them and their wedding party. These two were so full of love for each other and had all kinds of cute moments together. We snuck out with them for some sunset photo’s in the evening, and even though we didn’t get a wild sunset we still got some great romantic shots of them together. When we got back to the party it didn’t take long for the dance floor to get bumpin!

Kristen + Landon - Clear Lake Engagement

Clear Lake, Manitoba is one of our favorite places to spend time. Its such a beautiful, and relaxing place to be. When Kristen and Landon said they wanted to do their engagement photo’s out there you better believe I was all for it!

We walked around town and found some pretty spots with some beautiful sunset light. I feel like if you haven’t seen the sunset at Clear Lake you haven’t really lived. The two of them were up for everything and they were all smiles the entire shoot. I already can’t wait for their wedding next year!

I should also give a big thanks to our friends Wendy and Vince from Clear Lake Trading Post for giving me a place to spend the night instead of driving all the way home after the shoot.

Steph + Josh - Evergreen Village Wedding

August was a beautiful month! The weather was great and the weddings were all kinds of fun!

Steph and Josh’s wedding was no exception to all of that. We had a great time with them out at Evergreen Village. After the ceremony the two of them jumped into their Mustang and we sped off to go do photo’s in St. Norbert.

We made our way back to Evergreen Village and got the party started! Ended off our evening with them with a sunset shoot.

Sarah + Matt - Whitetail Meadow Wedding

Sarah and Matt got married this past July at Whitetail Meadow, this was our first wedding there, and wow is it gorgeous!

The day started off with a whole lot of good laughs and fun with Matt and his groomsmen getting ready. I made my way out to Whitetail Meadow and met up with Sarah and all of her bridesmaids there in the little cabin.

Once everyone was all fancied up and ready to go we made our way out for a sweet and intimate first look between Sarah and Matt. We took a whole bunch of photo’s around the Whitetail Meadow property and then got the ceremony started.

The rest of the day was full of fun for family and friends, great speeches that had me hurting from laughing so much, and great times on the dance floor.

Fun fact, 6 years ago when we got married we took photo’s in front of an old red barn where Whitetail Meadow is located, turns out that old barn got transformed into this amazing wedding venue!

Jennifer + David - Assiniboine Park Pavilion Wedding

Jen and David got married With a gorgeous ceremony outside the Assiniboine park pavilion, Jen with her kids at her side and David with his sister by his. The ceremony was sweet, and personal.

I may have only been around them for a couple hours but it was long enough to see how much love they had for each other and their family and friends. 

Inside the Assiniboine park pavilion was decorated beautifully by the Little Flower shop.
This really is a beautiful space for a wedding.

Alyssa + Geoff - Lac Lu Wedding

Back in July Alyssa and Geoff had a very very beautiful wedding at Lac Lu Landing. All the details were amazing, they even included their sweet pup! Lots of good times, and great laughs with this wedding party! They even had a plane stop by and pick them up for a flight right after the ceremony, how amazing is that!
