Fun fact!! (I like fun facts, that’s also a fun fact!) Cassandra lived right across from my parents place, we were pretty much neighbours for the longest time! It’s always a great feeling when someone you know has you be the one to capture these amazing life events of theirs! After their beautiful ceremony we headed to Fraser’s Grove park for some photos and then made our way to the kings head pub for some more photos, snacks and a few drinks (fun fact, I love the Kings head, they make great Caesar’s, and I’ll usually have one while there). After a few photos around the kings head we proceeded to The Clarion Hotel to get the party started!! We even managed to get on the rooftop for some photos with them!!

Hope you enjoy!
We spent a beautiful day at pineridge hollow with Katie and Adam for their wedding. They opted for a first look which left Adam in tears, and maybe a few others too. We headed into the wilds of birdshill park for some photos with the two of them and their wedding party, and then back to Pineridge Hollow to make things official with their wedding ceremony. Lots of good laughs and fun to be had that evening.
Time to start scrolling through the pics below!
I met up with these two on a warm summer evening in St. Boniface. Right away we hit it off - they're so sweet, genuine and loving. We laughed the whole time and they were naturals in front of the camera :)
I am so looking forward to their fall wedding - thanks guys & see you soon!

You may remember from their engagement shoot blog post, that I used to babysit Brett and his brothers. Oh man those three were a wild handful! Not much has changed since then other than they are grown up and I don’t babysit them anymore. It was truly an honour to be able to capture Brett and Sara’s big day, and to see so many familiar faces too!
Their wedding was held at the beautiful Ashgrove Acres. It’s always such a pleasure shooting there, everything is so well taken care of and the owners are fantastic people too.
The weather didn’t really want to cooperate for us that day, moments before the ceremony it poured rain, lots of it! But Sara and Brett kept it together and waited it out for it to stop and then got the ceremony going outside as planned. It was a pretty great day after that, lots of great speeches, good laughs, and just an excellent time had by all that day!
Enough of me yammering away, check the photos out for yourself!
So here’s a run down of how things went with Sara and Chris on their shoot. We met up at The kings head pub, and headed out for a trek around the exchange. I know the exchange is a very popular area for engagement shoots but I try to just wander around and find different spots with beautiful light and that’s exactly what we did. We eventually made our way to one particular spot, they were gettin all wild and having a kiss while I snapped a few photos when out of no where a large man pops out of a building door and starts giving me a bit of a hard time... turns out he thought I was taking photos of skateboarders on his fancy new deck/patio edging. He soon realized that wasn’t the case and then asked if we wanted to take some photos on the rooftop of his building, ummm let me think about that, of course we do. So he took us up there and then left us to do as we pleased. One of those wrong place at the right time situations I guess. After that we continued our adventure around the exchange finding more great light and having some good laughs and conversation.
So that’s about how it played out, hope you enjoy the photos!
What an evening this was! We drove out to Whiteshell provincial park, and started hiking out to where we were going to shoot... I took the wrong path! So we had to turn back and start over. We hiked and hiked, and Jess and Chris may have enjoyed a drink or two on that hike, I can't say for sure. We spotted a deer, a fox, lots of frogs, and possible a bear or some other large animal which growled or grunted at us a number of times on the way back in the dark. We did have a ton of fun and they were literally up for anything and everything I tossed their way! I love adventures, and this one was a great one!
Enough of my chit chat, go check the pics!
Well this one was one of the sweetest weddings I ever did get to shoot. These two are just meant to be, you can tell when you first meet them, and then you get into a room full of their family and friends and you really know its true love. Had such a wonderful time with Lia and Lou and everyone at their wedding at the Journey to Churchill Exhibit in Assiniboine Park Zoo. We even had the pleasure of some polar bears joining in to watch the ceremony.
Enjoy!
Pinawa is a pretty popular spot for engagement photo's and I'm sure you can see why! Michelle and James joined me in exploring around the park and suspension bridge for their shoot. We chased some pretty light, found some neat spots to shoot in and had a pretty 'dam' good time while we were at it. I tried some shots with a prism which you'll see at the end of the post. Not long now before I get to hang out with them again for the big wedding day!
Enjoy!
I spent a great evening wandering around Pinawa Dam Provincial Park with Jen and David for their engagement shoot. These two were naturals in front of the camera, and were up for everything I tossed their way. We had perfect weather and beautiful sunshine for this one. Looking forward to spending some more time with the two of them on their upcoming wedding day!
For now, enjoy the photo's below!
Out and about for another mentor session, this time we were out with Sarah from @sarahlmtgnphoto she was looking to get off on the right foot into the wedding business, and learn some posing techniques. Sasha and Chris were a fantastic couple to work with. They evn brought their pup along!
Enjoy!
