Sometimes the weather ends up giving you something even better than a perfectly sunny wedding day. That was definitely the case for Maddy and Sebastian's wedding at Bridges Golf Course in Manitoba.
After the rain cleared away, the clouds opened up and the sky put on an incredible show. The combination of dramatic clouds, beautiful evening light, and an amazing sunset created some absolutely stunning opportunities for wedding photos.
It was one of those evenings where you couldn't have asked for a better backdrop.

Bridges Golf Course is a fantastic setting for a Manitoba wedding. With its open landscapes, beautiful grounds, and plenty of natural scenery, there are so many opportunities for wedding photography.
For Maddy and Sebastian, the course provided a wonderful setting to celebrate their wedding day.
One of the things we love about photographing weddings at golf courses is having access to wide-open spaces and beautiful views. They're especially great when the evening light starts to change and the sun gets lower in the sky.
And for this wedding, the sky definitely delivered.
When the Rain Clears, the Magic Happens
Rain on a wedding day isn't always what couples hope for, but it can create some pretty incredible photography conditions once it passes.
As the rain cleared during Maddy and Sebastian's wedding, the clouds began to break apart, allowing beautiful evening light to shine through.
The result was an amazing sky filled with colour, texture, and dramatic clouds.
From a photographer's perspective, these are the moments you get excited about. The contrast between the darker clouds and the warm sunset light created an incredible backdrop for portraits.
It's also a great reminder that you don't need perfect weather to get beautiful wedding photos. Sometimes a little unpredictable Manitoba weather gives you something truly special.

As the evening continued, we had the opportunity to take advantage of the stunning sunset at Bridges Golf Course.
The open landscape allowed us to capture Maddy and Sebastian against the beautiful sky, with the changing colours and clouds adding so much character to the images.
Sunset portraits are always one of our favourite parts of a wedding day, but this one was particularly memorable.
There was something about the light breaking through after the rain that made the whole scene stand out.
These are the kinds of moments that make wedding photography so much fun. You can plan your locations and timeline, but sometimes nature gives you something you could never have planned.
