From a first look on the rooftop of the building where their story first began to celebrating at the beautiful Manitoba Club, their day brought together personal touches, timeless elegance, and some of Winnipeg's most recognizable downtown scenery.

A Rooftop First Look Where It All Began
One of our favourite moments from Chelsea and Mark's wedding happened before the ceremony even began.
Rather than choosing a traditional first look location, they decided to return to a place that held a special connection to their relationship: the rooftop of the building where they both lived and first met.
It's not every day that we get to photograph a first look somewhere with that much personal history.
With the Winnipeg skyline surrounding them, Chelsea and Mark shared a private moment together before heading into the excitement of their wedding celebrations. The rooftop provided an incredible setting for photos, but it was the story behind the location that made it especially memorable.

After their first look, we headed into Winnipeg's historic Exchange District for wedding portraits.
The Exchange District is easily one of our favourite areas in Winnipeg for wedding photography. Between the historic brick buildings, beautiful architecture, interesting textures, and character-filled streets, there's no shortage of great places to stop for photos.
For Chelsea and Mark, the downtown setting was a perfect complement to the elegant style of their wedding.
We explored different spots throughout the Exchange District, using the architecture and urban surroundings to create a variety of portraits. One of the things we love about photographing weddings in this part of Winnipeg is how much variety you can find within just a few blocks.
From classic architectural backdrops to more relaxed moments walking through the streets, the Exchange District always delivers.
