Michelle + Johnny - Rustic Wedding Barn Wedding

A wedding at the Rustic Wedding Barn was just perfect for Michelle and Johnny! These two and their wild wedding party were up for all kinds of fun, even if it was raining for most of the day. There was smiles, tears, lots of laughing, some singing and all kinds of good wedding day fun. I’d only met them the morning of the wedding, but it didn’t take long for everyone to be comfortable to just enjoying the day together. Kairos + Jerricson - Hawthorn Estates Wedding

What a fantastic day for a wedding with Kairos and Jerricson.
They both got ready in their home with their family and friends, and then we headed off to Hawthorn Estates for their ceremony and reception. Hawthorn Estates was amazing as always, and we took some gorgeous photo’s around the grounds there. Kairos sister played violin, her dad officiated the ceremony and it was perfect.

Whitney + Ethan - Headingly Engagement

So you want to start your engagement shoot with some ice cream? That sounds great to me, I love ice cream!!

Headingly is a special place for Whitney and Ethan, so that is where we did their session. Lots of smiles and good laughs, and hey they even brought their super cute pup along with them!

We had ice cream, made our way over to the Headingly train bridge, and then out to Beaudry Provincial Park to catch that beautiful sunset!

Bailey + Payton - Engagement at Kings Park

Bailey and Payton! I met Payton a few years back at his brothers wedding. Im pretty sure I remember him tearing up the dancefloor, but I could be wrong :)

Here we are a few years later and he’s engaged to the beautiful Bailey! They were in town to visit family so we met up and captured their engagement photo’s as well as a family session. Always so great to see familiar faces.

Meaghan + Will - St. Norbert Arts Centre Wedding

With the forecast calling for rain all weekend Meaghan and Will had to very quickly change the plans for the wedding day just a couple days before. The wedding wasn’t supposed to be indoors, but hey, if you can pivot as quickly as these two did and plan a whole different day, then why not be safe!
It turns out the day ended up being absolutely perfect outside, the rain stayed away, and everyone still had a great time!
Meaghan and Will’s wedding was at the St. Norbert Monastery Ruins, and St Norbert Arts Centre. It was beautiful, and intimate, and all kinds of fun! Take a couple minutes and scroll through the photo’s below!

Samantha + Graeme - Intimate Backyard Wedding in Winnipeg

I’m going to let you in on a secret… not all wedding days go exactly as planned, especially when it comes to the weather. Samantha and Graeme had an amazing backyard wedding planned, there was supposed to be furniture, little areas to mingle and drink, and all kinds of beautiful touches. However, good ol mother nature had other plans for their day, and decided it would be a good idea to rain all day, and not just a little rain, but extremely heavy rain! Lucky for them they had a fantastic wedding planner (Soiree Planning) and they were able to pivot and change plans really quickly, they transformed Graeme’s Dad’s house into a wedding venue, still managed to have their ceremony outdoors in the yard, and had the best time they possibly could! They did their first dance in the rain, as well as the father daughter dance!

They could have easily let the weather ruin their day, however they just took the day as it was and made the best of it. Weather is out of your control, don’t let it ruin your day, embrace it and make it part of the day!

They had an amazing team of vendors for their wedding as well.

Danielle + Mitchell - Clear Lake Wedding

A super sweet and intimate elopement in Clear Lake you say? Sign us up!!! We love Clear Lake (Riding Mountain National Park) and we love intimate elopements just like the one Danielle and Mitchell had. Their ceremony was overlooking the lake, with boats and paddle boarders going by. They stopped for a cinnamon bun at White House (If you haven’t had one from there, you need to!) and then they went and got some Ice Cream from Velvet Dip (I got one too!) We wandered around and took some photo’s and then went for a boat ride on the Martese with their family. We finished up the day with an impromptu first dance outside at The Elkhorn. I asked them what their song was, and then played it on my phone for them so they could enjoy the moment together.

This was a treat of a day! Enjoy!

Raydan + Blair - West Hawk Lake Couples Shoot

I dont think its possible to get tired of shooting out at the lake, especially somewhere beautiful like West Hawk Lake. I met up with Raydan and Blair out there while they were at the Family Cabin and captured a beautiful couples session with them. We had some good fun, great laughs and created some beautiful photos! This won’t be the last time you see them on here either, as they just booked us for their wedding!! Super exciting. If you didn’t know, Raydan is also an amazing wedding planner! Angelina + Max - Assiniboine Forest Engagement

Angelina and Max met up with me at Assiniboine Forest this summer and we managed to catch a beautiful sunset! We wandered the trails, laid in the long grass (well they did, not me I was up in the tree). Can’t wait for more good times with Angelina and Max when they get married!
