I feel like I say this way too often, but honestly shoots with our couples are so fun! Not exactly sure how we luck out with all these great couples but whatever it is, I like it!
I’d met Jessica and Osmar at a wedding in the summer and was super glad to be a part of their special time now! These two were full of fun and natural moments. We didn’t get much more than 15 seconds of a fancy sunset, but I don’t think it made a difference as these two were shining bright enough!
Can’t wait for more good times to come!
Im not sure if there’s a better way to start a shoot than showing up with me wearing pretty much the exact same thing as Kurtis! Im cool with that, and it set the tone for the rest of the shoot, and by that I mean it was AWESOME! Seriously though, we had a really great time wandering around Waterfront and The Exchange District. Can’t wait to spend some more time with them at Hawthorn Estates for their wedding!
Enjoy!
Sarah and Seth were pretty darn great to work with. They are getting married out of town and already have a photographer for their wedding, but wanted some engagement photo’s done near Winnipeg, so we spent some time taking their photo’s at Birds Hill Park.
It was an absolute pleasure and a lot of fun getting out with these two! Can’t wait to see the wedding photos!
What a fantastic day Gillian and Dougs wedding was! Very laid back, and stress free and full of good fun and laughs, and maybe some tears. They had their wedding at the always amazing Cielo’s Garden, always a treat to shoot a wedding there. Before the ceremony Gillian had an emotional first look with her Dad (These get me in the feels all the time). After the ceremony we stuck around Cielo’s property for photos and had them back mingling and hanging out with friends and family for cocktail hour. The rest of the night was spent with good food, great speeches, and dancing the night away!
Enjoy!
One of the prettiest places around come fall time is Birds Hill Park. Always enjoy shooting there, and this shoot with Heather and Zach was no exception. The two of them were super cute and so in love!
Enjoy!
You might notice that we’ve done a lot of engagement shoots out at Pinawa. Its pretty clear to see why, its a beautiful place with lots of great spots for photo’s. We generally don’t pick where we do engagement shoots, we leave that up to our couples to pick somewhere that is special to them. Back in the fall I met up with Shayla and Eric out there for their session. Plenty of good laughs were had, and we also made some pretty fancy photo’s while we were at it!
With that said, take a scroll down and enjoy!
This was my first time meeting Iris and Jonah, and it almost didn’t happen because it was raining moments before their engagement shoot! The weather cleared up and it turned into the perfect evening for them!
We started off at the Upper Fort Garry Park behind the Manitoba Club. There was a bunch of tree’s with the most beautiful red and orange leaves that just had to be a part of the shoot. After that we just wandered around without a plan or specific spots to shoot. This is one of my fav things to do on a shoot by the way, there’s no expectations of certain spots, its just us walking around and taking photos when the time is right. We ended up at the Forks and in the train station as well.
It was really great to finally meet up with Iris and Jonah and have some good times together! Their wedding will be on the blog soon too, so watch for that!
Enjoy!
I had the wonderful opportunity to get out with Tara and Chris for their engagement session at the Forks. It was a pretty rainy day, and we decided we were going to go for the shoot anyways and shoot inside at The Forks. When I arrived the rain had stopped so we got outside and took some photo’s had some conversation and got to know eachother. Really enjoyed this shoot with these two!
Enjoy!
A beautiful evening spent at Pinawa dam is never a bad thing. Kairos and Jerricson adventured around the park with me and we made all kinds of beautiful photo’s together. The last few photo’s of the shoto make it look like it was raining but it was actually all kinds of flies in the air, love how that turned out!
The day started with Kirsten and Patrick reading each other letters for their first look. It was sweet, intimate and super special. It all took place on Patricks parents riverside property. We hopped a quick limo ride to Assiniboine park for some photos with them and their wedding party. It was back to Patricks parents place to start the ceremony under a beautiful triangle arch with the river as a backdrop. The reception was filled with a few tears and a whole lot of laughter and crazy dance floor action. Really enjoyed this intimate and fun filled backyard wedding!
