Kayla + Jarrod - Winnipeg Wedding

Back in August we shot Kayla and Jarrods wedding. We started out with their first look at Aspire Studio's and then made our way out to Birds Hill Park for some more photo's with the two of them and their wedding party. Then back in to the city for the ceremony, and wrapped things up at the Best Western Plus for the big celebration! The day went perfect, the weather treated us well, and we really did have a lot of fun!

Sometimes its actually difficult to put into words how much I enjoy shooting weddings and working with wonderful couples, this is one of those times! Getting to know these two over the past few years has been fantastic, and it's always difficult for me when it comes time to blog a wedding, as in a way its almost a goodbye, and I don't much care for goodbye's.

Before I get too worked up about this stuff, why don't you all take a scroll through the photo's below and I hope you enjoy them.

Andrea + Eric - La Lune Wedding

Andrea + Eric - La Lune Wedding

Andrea and Eric are pretty much neighbors of ours, which made it pretty easy to head over to their place to start shooting her and the girls getting ready. A few quick pics with the guys after and we were all on our way out to La Lune to get the day going. This was my first time out at La Lune, and I was blown away at how beautiful it was there. They certainly made my job a bit easier with such a great venue.

After a sweet ceremony we shot a few pics around the grounds, and then got the party started. Once the sun dipped down I snuck out for some more photo's with Andrea and Eric and caught one hell of an amazing sunset with them. Sneaking off with the couple around sunset is something I try to do as much as possible, so if you can sneak 15 mins into your wedding day for a few extra photo's please do it!

Enough of my rambling, scroll on down through the pics and enjoy!

Kyla + Trevor - Breezy Bend Wedding

Kyla and Trevors wedding was nothing short of a perfect day! The weather was amazing, maybe even a bit too hot at times. It poured rain just before the ceremony but cleared up in time. I got to witness all of the girls singing some Alanis Morisette in the morning while they got ready.

For their first look we went back to the same bench at Assiniboine park where Trevor proposed. Followed that up with some photo's in the gardens, and then headed downtown for a couple drinks/shots at The Kings Head and more photo's around the exhange, then headed out to Breezy Bend for the Ceremony and Reception.

It was very clear to see how much these two are loved by family and friends as there was so many great things to be said about them. Lots of feels going on this wedding day!

We wrapped up with a little shoot on the golf course at sunset, and everyone partied the night away!

Enjoy!

Andreia + Sam - Wedding at The Met

Andreia and Sam had a classic and elegant wedding at The Met in downtown Winnipeg. It rained really really hard during the ceremony, but by the time it was over everything had cleared up and we had a wonderful time heading out for photo's with them and their fun wedding party.

Thanks to Michelle for second shooting this one with me.

Also got to work with Dean Rover Films on this one, if you get all the way to the bottom you can check out the video clip from the day!

Lisa + Kyle - Clear Lake Wedding

Just want to throw this out there that we really love small intimate weddings, especially when they happen to be at one of the most beautiful places in Manitoba.

Lisa and Kyle celebrated their big day out in Riding Mountain National Park, with Clear Lake as their backdrop. With just family and close friends this really was an intimate wedding.

Enjoy! :)

Alissa + Michael - Wedding

On what seemed to be one of the hottest days of the summer, Alissa and Michael got married!

The crazy hot day aside, the wedding was fantastic, with a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and some great photo's around St. Norbert and Kings Park. We even finished up the evening with a beautiful sunset.

Enjoy the photo's below :)

Janelle + Eric - Wedding

Janelle and Eric are some of our best friends, and when we got picked to be their photographers we were more than excited and honored to do so!

As I was one of the groomsmen my time shooting was a bit limited however Amanda and Dwayne did a more than amazing job capturing the day. The weather was perfect, nothing went wrong, and there was more than enough fun to be had throughout the day and night.

Their wedding also had one of the best groom entrances i've experienced, Eric and his Dad we're flown in by helicopter to the wedding site. After the ceremony was complete the chopper took Janelle and her parents for a little flight as well. By all means feel free to make more helicopter entrances.

I've written enough, go get to the good stuff and check out all the photo's below!

Carley + Dale - The Gates On Roblin Wedding

When you get to shoot one of your best high school friends wedding, and all of the groomsmen are also your good high school buddies, it makes for one heck of a great day!

Carley and Dale, and the full wedding entourage were so much fun to be around, there was more than enough good laughs!

The weather was another story, with the rain being pretty off and on, but mostly on all day it forced the ceremony to be indoors, but sometimes thats just the way it goes. You take whats thrown your way and make the most of it. After the ceremony was over and the reception got going the weather cleared up and we got out for some last shots of the evening.

Congrats Carley and Dale, thanks so much for having us be part of your day!

Big thanks to our second shooter Michelle Blais for being awesome as always!

Jamie + Brett - Ashgrove Acres Wedding

It wasn't that long ago that we posted Jamie and Brett's engagement photos, and no here is the big wedding day!

Its been nothing but fun from the first time we met them, until leaving on their wedding day. The day was pretty much as perfect as could be, the weather was amazing. Ashgrove Acre's is quite the wonderful venue!

Jamie and the girls started the day off at Bob and Page getting their hair and makeup taken care of, while the guys got ready out at Ashgrove Acre's. A little more getting ready out there for the girls and it was time for the first look, a beautiful ceremony, and a wonderfully decorated reception.

Once the sun started to make its way down we snuck the two of them outside to catch a few more photo's. We really do love sneaking away for 10-15 mins with our couples when the sun starts to set.

Big thank you to Michelle Blais for being an excellent second shooter!

Congrats Jamie and Brett!

Danielle + Micheal - Winnipeg Wedding

Danielle and Michael sealed the deal on New Years Eve! What a way to bring in the new year.

The ballroom at the Best Western Plus was decorated in style by Madeline's Weddings and Events.

We headed out to the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport to get some photo's with the two of them. They attracted quite a bit of attention from the travelers!

After that the we headed over to the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada, sticking with the Airport theme.

The Rest of the evening was a fantastic party with close family and friends.

Thanks to Michelle Blais for second shooting with me.

Enjoy
