A couple months ago Sonia asked me if i’d be the photographer for her wedding, and i’ll admit I was a bit scared to commit to it. However after some reassurance from her that she was confident I could do a great job I agree’d to do it.
After meeting with Sonia and Darren I knew right away they really just wanted to have fun with it, and let their personalities show in the pictures. Im not one for scripted and choreographed pictures so this was great.
The day of the wedding the forecast was calling for rain… and lots of it!
Great, my first wedding and i’ve got to deal with rain. The wedding was all outdoors, not making it much easier on me. The show must go on though, and right as the ceremony started the sun came out like some kind of miracle!
This was a great experience for me, and I am extremely happy that I was able to share the day with an amazing couple and capture it all for them.

Took both of these trucks out for a shoot recently.

Recently had my Great Uncle visit from England, and we spent the day in Gimli. Here’s a few shots from the day!

The 6th Annual Summer Shocker Car Show was on June 26th this year. Here is my coverage from the show.
Yet another successful year for Cancer Care Manitoba.

Joel asked me if I could take some pictures of his family dog Phoebe. Unfortunately Phoebe has been very sick and had to be put down, so this was a memorial shoot for her. Hopefully the pics will help her live on in Joel and his families memories.

I have been following the builds of a couple trucks being built at Joels shop, Mindliss Metal Fab.

Last month I was asked to design a ticket for a fundraising event for a friend.
She was hosting an event to raise money in support of Cancer Care Manitoba. This was just going to be any event though, she was going to raise this money by shaving off her beautiful long hair!
On the day of the event I received a last minute txt msg from Brittany saying her photographer had bailed on her, and she needed someone to photograph the event. I couldn’t say no, and headed down there.
The event was great and was held at Earls on Main. The restaurant was full of people there to support her.
In the end the event was a great success, and from what I heard she managed to raise over $12,000!!

This past Saturday I went out for a shoot with Lyndsay and Rob to Kings Park. Click the image to view the Flickr Set.

I was fortunate enough to get to snap some pics of some very amazing dogs this weekend. They are all dogs that have been rescued and are the sweetest dogs i’ve ever seen, so well behaved and just adorable. Very sad to hear the stories of what they’ve been through, but thanks to people like the Linda and her husband they are living a far better life now.
