Alissa + Michael - Wedding

On what seemed to be one of the hottest days of the summer, Alissa and Michael got married!

The crazy hot day aside, the wedding was fantastic, with a beautiful outdoor ceremony, and some great photo's around St. Norbert and Kings Park. We even finished up the evening with a beautiful sunset.

Enjoy the photo's below :)

Janelle + Eric - Wedding

Janelle and Eric are some of our best friends, and when we got picked to be their photographers we were more than excited and honored to do so!

As I was one of the groomsmen my time shooting was a bit limited however Amanda and Dwayne did a more than amazing job capturing the day. The weather was perfect, nothing went wrong, and there was more than enough fun to be had throughout the day and night.

Their wedding also had one of the best groom entrances i've experienced, Eric and his Dad we're flown in by helicopter to the wedding site. After the ceremony was complete the chopper took Janelle and her parents for a little flight as well. By all means feel free to make more helicopter entrances.

I've written enough, go get to the good stuff and check out all the photo's below!

Carley + Dale - The Gates On Roblin Wedding

When you get to shoot one of your best high school friends wedding, and all of the groomsmen are also your good high school buddies, it makes for one heck of a great day!

Carley and Dale, and the full wedding entourage were so much fun to be around, there was more than enough good laughs!

The weather was another story, with the rain being pretty off and on, but mostly on all day it forced the ceremony to be indoors, but sometimes thats just the way it goes. You take whats thrown your way and make the most of it. After the ceremony was over and the reception got going the weather cleared up and we got out for some last shots of the evening.

Congrats Carley and Dale, thanks so much for having us be part of your day!

Big thanks to our second shooter Michelle Blais for being awesome as always!

Jamie + Brett - Ashgrove Acres Wedding

It wasn't that long ago that we posted Jamie and Brett's engagement photos, and no here is the big wedding day!

Its been nothing but fun from the first time we met them, until leaving on their wedding day. The day was pretty much as perfect as could be, the weather was amazing. Ashgrove Acre's is quite the wonderful venue!

Jamie and the girls started the day off at Bob and Page getting their hair and makeup taken care of, while the guys got ready out at Ashgrove Acre's. A little more getting ready out there for the girls and it was time for the first look, a beautiful ceremony, and a wonderfully decorated reception.

Once the sun started to make its way down we snuck the two of them outside to catch a few more photo's. We really do love sneaking away for 10-15 mins with our couples when the sun starts to set.

Big thank you to Michelle Blais for being an excellent second shooter!

Congrats Jamie and Brett!

Danielle + Micheal - Winnipeg Wedding

Danielle and Michael sealed the deal on New Years Eve! What a way to bring in the new year.

The ballroom at the Best Western Plus was decorated in style by Madeline's Weddings and Events.

We headed out to the Winnipeg James Armstrong Richardson International Airport to get some photo's with the two of them. They attracted quite a bit of attention from the travelers!

After that the we headed over to the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada, sticking with the Airport theme.

The Rest of the evening was a fantastic party with close family and friends.

Thanks to Michelle Blais for second shooting with me.

Enjoy

Kayla + Catlin - Canadian Museum for Human Rights Wedding

What an amazing mid October day for a wedding! They couldn't have asked for better weather.

With a first look at a park just seconds from their new home, to some photo's at Aspire Studio, followed up with a walk around the exchange and finding ourselves in the middle of a christmas movie set (apparently Candice Cameron is in it?)

The day was wrapped up with the ceremony and reception at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

Big thanks to Mandy Wright for second shooting again!

Bri and Paulo - Winnipeg Wedding at The Met

Some people just have this thing about them, you just want to be their friends. Bri and Paulo are those people with that thing! Its been a fantastic time getting to know the two of them, and developing a friendship with them.

Did we ever have some fun with these guys on their wedding day, from lots of laughs getting ready, to dance parties on the limo bus, to fireball shots. We can't thank the two of them enough for having us capture their day, and absorbing us into their life as friends! hehe.

The weather wasn't perfect, but there's something to be said about a couple thats willing to embrace the rain and cold weather and get out there and take some amazing photo's! You'll see those down below.

A very big thanks to Alexandra Johnson for second shooting with me. :)

Robyn + Lionel - Pineridge Hollow Wedding

Im going to start from the begining here. When we first met with Robyn and Lionel last year we immediately kicked things off, had a great connection with them, and pretty sure we sat around at our place chatting totally non-wedding related stuff for a couple hours.

Without a doubt these two were like immediate friends! haha. Going through the engagement and wedding with them has been a lot of fun. The wedding day was perfect, getting ready at the Fairmont, a downtown first look, and an outdoor ceremony at Pineridge Hollow. We even had some goats show up as guests.

Later in the evening I ventured outside with the guys to get some shots with them smoking cigars and having drinks. Gotta say I love the reactions we get when showing them those shots. The dance floor was crazy so I made sure to get right in on the action with everyone too.

A big thank you to Mandy Wright for helping out and second shooting with me.

Oh, don't forget to take a look at the amazing same day edit by the SUPER talented Dean Rover Films! We love working with their team, always so much fun with them. Check out their same day edit at the end of the blog post.

Jessica + Tyson - Neepawa Wedding

Two years ago we shot Jessica's sisters wedding on what was the rainiest days we've ever shot. Jessica and Tyson's wedding was the complete opposite of that. The sun was shining and the weather was perfect for a fall day.

The wedding was held on Jessica's parents property, which might I add is amazing! Huge tree's in the yard, and the had their ceremony in the most beautiful spot ever, the tree's were magical, for a spot that is usually used as a pasture it sure made a great spot to get married.

Right after the ceremony I hopped in the back seat of Tyson's car with them and we sped off to take some photo's. It was like a getaway out of a movie.

The day was flawless and so much fun. It was great to see some familiar faces and reminisce with guests about the "wet wedding" from a couple years ago.

All the best you guys!

Kelsey + Ed - Hitch'n Post Wedding

Describing Kelsey and Ed as fun would be an understatement. These two and their wedding party were an absolute blast!

After spending the morning getting ready/having a couple drinks we all made our way out to the Hitch'n Post for Kelsey and Ed's first look. When it came time to the ceremony it was only suiting that Ed pull up to the aisle on his dirt bike!

The evening was full of familiar faces for us and didn't disappoint in the fun dept. either. After the sun went down We headed outside to get some more photos.

Enjoy!
