Angela + Darin - Kenora Engagement

A little while back I spent an absolute gorgeous evening out in Kenora with Angela and Darin. We ventured around close to their home, and took some beautiful photo’s in the back yard, which might I mention was amazing!

Enjoy, and be on the lookout for their wedding post soon!

Anastasia + Scott - Winnipeg Engagement

As you’ll see from the first couple shots from this shoot with Anastasia and Scott we started with a couple drinks at the Yellowdog Tavern. I may have enjoyed a tasty Caesar while we were there too.

The two of them both said they were super awkward before we started, but I think you’ll see in the photo’s that they were completely opposite of that. We had so much fun! I had some music going while we wandered the exchange, we danced in the streets, got weird behind some vines, had piggy back rides, shoulder rides, and so many laughs.

Can’t wait to get out in the cold month of February for their wedding and heat up the streets again with these two!

Katie and Jeremy - Engagement Shoot

Katie, Jeremy and I met up on a warm evening in June. Katie had scoped out a few spots she wanted to have their engagement photos taken and it ended up being one of my favorite spots!

These two are so in love and it shines through in their photos - I can't wait for their wedding day next month.

Michelle + Ben - McGillavray Falls Engagement

I do enjoy the great outdoors, and love it when our couples share that love for it as well. Michelle and Ben were up for a little hike at Mcgillavray falls. We met up out there and made our way around the trail, which may have included swatting away countless black flies! We survived and had a good bit of fun out there. Looking forward to more fun on the upcoming wedding day!

I met up with these two on a warm summer evening in St. Boniface. Right away we hit it off - they're so sweet, genuine and loving. We laughed the whole time and they were naturals in front of the camera :)

I am so looking forward to their fall wedding - thanks guys & see you soon!

Sara + Chris - Engagement Shoot - Winnipeg Wedding Photographer

So here’s a run down of how things went with Sara and Chris on their shoot. We met up at The kings head pub, and headed out for a trek around the exchange. I know the exchange is a very popular area for engagement shoots but I try to just wander around and find different spots with beautiful light and that’s exactly what we did. We eventually made our way to one particular spot, they were gettin all wild and having a kiss while I snapped a few photos when out of no where a large man pops out of a building door and starts giving me a bit of a hard time... turns out he thought I was taking photos of skateboarders on his fancy new deck/patio edging. He soon realized that wasn’t the case and then asked if we wanted to take some photos on the rooftop of his building, ummm let me think about that, of course we do. So he took us up there and then left us to do as we pleased. One of those wrong place at the right time situations I guess. After that we continued our adventure around the exchange finding more great light and having some good laughs and conversation.

So that’s about how it played out, hope you enjoy the photos!

Jess + Chris - Whiteshell Provincial Park Engagement shoot

What an evening this was! We drove out to Whiteshell provincial park, and started hiking out to where we were going to shoot... I took the wrong path! So we had to turn back and start over. We hiked and hiked, and Jess and Chris may have enjoyed a drink or two on that hike, I can't say for sure. We spotted a deer, a fox, lots of frogs, and possible a bear or some other large animal which growled or grunted at us a number of times on the way back in the dark. We did have a ton of fun and they were literally up for anything and everything I tossed their way! I love adventures, and this one was a great one!

Enough of my chit chat, go check the pics!

Pinawa is a pretty popular spot for engagement photo's and I'm sure you can see why! Michelle and James joined me in exploring around the park and suspension bridge for their shoot. We chased some pretty light, found some neat spots to shoot in and had a pretty 'dam' good time while we were at it. I tried some shots with a prism which you'll see at the end of the post. Not long now before I get to hang out with them again for the big wedding day!

Enjoy!

These two were naturals in front of the camera, and were up for everything I tossed their way. We had perfect weather and beautiful sunshine for this one. Looking forward to spending some more time with the two of them on their upcoming wedding day!

Spring... did we even really get a spring? There was still some snow and ice on the ground when we headed out to Pinawa for Stephanie and Romeo's engagement shoot, but the weather was soooooo delightfully good! Almost as good as summer! We explored around the old dam, and then made our way over to the suspension bridge to catch that last little bit of sunlight. Looking forward to some more time with these two for their wedding in a couple months!

Enjoy!
